We can assist with all stages of the design and construction process and offer a free initial consultation to determine your specific project requirements and prepare a customised fee proposal to suit your requirements.
We have an external team of consultants that we regularly work with including engineers, interior designers, landscape designers, energy raters, town planners and land surveyors who help to ensure a fully co-ordinated project outcome.
In summary typical project stages include:
PRE-DESIGN
- Obtain and confirm the detailed client brief
- Assess existing site conditions and undertake site measure
- Prepare existing conditions plans
CONCEPT DESIGN
- Prepare schematic architectural concept design drawings
- Preliminary selection of materials and finishes
TOWN PLANNING
- Where Town Planning is required, prepare architectural drawings for submission to Council
- Prepare written Town Planning report for council and liaise with Council throughout the approval process
dESIGN DEVELOPMENT
- Prepare more detailed architectural design drawings and liase and co-ordinate with Consultants
- Material selection and recommendation
- Fixtures, Fittings & Equipment selection and recommendation
CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTATION
- Prepare architectural construction documentation for building permit approval and tender.
- Bushfire Attack Level, BAL Reports
CONSTRUCTION SERVICES
- Co-ordinate and review tender documents and respond to queries throughout the tender process and make recommendations.
- Attend site throughout the construction period to observe and document the progress.
- Respond to builder RFI’s
- Review builder progress payments.
